Great recap, brought back some great memories. Although I only got to Flemington maybe 10 times, I remember the first time there and the cool T shirts they sold there. This was in the mid 70's.The last time I was there in the mid 80's,hid under a moving blanket in the back of Butch Rampullas van towing his late model into the pits. We all were suffering from lack of funds. Both Butch and the track are gone now and I think the statue of limitations has run out.
