A good very long day. We camped in Coke Lot across the street from Turn 4. We tent camped with friends. Some had campers some had tents. Our tent was destroyed the first day. Very windy. Mazda didn't design their CX-30 for sleeping but we slept like babies 3 nights in a row in it.
Sunday night our friend said to sleep in his RV as he had extra room since some had to leave Sunday night. Dangerous Thunder storms Sunday night with bad lightning. But we survived it all. We never left the campsite Sunday morning. We expected a delay and didn't want to make that walk twice. It was crazy getting in after the rain delay as everyone had to enter at the same time instead of being spread out all morning.
Good but not great race in my opinion. The last lap pass happened right in front of us. Saw it from beginning to end. A thing of beauty. We're already talking about our options for 2025.
