Your Weekend Round Up  

Let us know if you attended/watched, and what you thought.  Racing?  Air Show? Other?

I had family plans on Saturday, so didn't get out anywhere this weekend. 

Watched a bunch of stuff from the "Replay Section"on FLO that I hadn't gotten a chance to see yet, including events from a few weeks ago like STSS at Kutztown, Tony Hulmann Classic at Terre Haute, IRA Sprints at Angel Park, USAC Midgets from Sweeet Springs, NARC Sprints from Stockton.   (I like the replay section because I can watch it at the pace I like, fast forwarding through downtime/etc., and as long as I don't know who won (which I usually don't), it still has the surprise factor that I would get if I had tried watching it when it was on live originally.) 

Also watched Indycar (practice/qualifying and the race) from Road America on Peacock.

Watched xFinity and Cup from Sonoma (DVR'd/fast forward)

Watched last week's NHRA event from New England....  Have this weekend's event locked in on the good ol' DVR.

For the most part, enjoyed what I watched.  If you watch races/series from other parts of the country for a few weeks in a row, you get to know the drivers/teams that run those series/tracks, which is pretty cool...  You develop that vibe on who are the top runners...., who to root for...who has hard luck... and maybe even who not to root for, which is all part of it too, right?

Have to remind myself that it was only a few decades ago that you were lucky if there was any racing on TV other than Nascar....  Heck, back in the 70's, us racefans were excited if there was even a commercial that featured racing!  Now, with streaming, cable, network, YouTube, and with the help of the DVR, there's more out there than you could ever watch.
