A few more notes...  I watched it last night via DVR.

Another Nascar Cup race where the winner was also a guy who spun somebody out earlier in the race.  Doesn't seem to happen that often in the other forms of racing that I watch (USAC Sprints, Lucas Late Models, etc.,) but seems to happen a lot in Cup, xFinity, Craftsman Truck.  It wasn't intentional, but it was a loss of car control by Bowman that caused him to hit Bubba Wallace (pretty early in the race) and Wallace ended up sideways sitting in traffic.  Kind of wondering if Nascar will do anything to Wallace for his contact with Bowman after the race, as it was a pretty hard shot to Bowman on the cool down lap, and a little scary with the Bowman's window net down, with what he's been through.

Later, Briscoe lost control, and took out SVG (VanGinsbergin?) who won last year, and won on Saturday this year.  That cut the big build up storyline of him looking to "repeat" short.

Larson managed to find a part of the wall where the strapped together tires in the run off area were at their thinnest.  Much harder hit than it would have been if there were more tires in place in the far right corner where inpact occurred.

I think Reddick would have won if he didn't clip the inside wall on the last lap, but he was the one with the steering wheel in his hands, and as he said, he just missed judged it.

Lastly, I still think that Rick Allen sounds like Captain Obvious....  Offers nothing more than what you are already looking at on the screen.... To me he sounds like he is on a voice over audition for a radio commercial, rather than a person broadcasting a race, that actually understands what is going on....  And Jeff Burton, sounds like an overly excited school girl whever something happens...  "There wreckin!.... Their wreckin!...."   Just to prove I'm not totally negative, I'm ok with listening to Steve Letart, except I think he sucks up to Nascar at every opportunity, but I understand, he likes his job and wants to keep it.  Oh well.. I guess that was even a little negative too!
