How was the show -- July 4 Weekend?  

Bridgeport STSS on Sunday as a fan ($30-no senior discount) in the stands (and a tailgater in the heat with some good friends). Overall grade--A-. Well run show (Deyo moves them along) and wingless sprint feature was surprisingly good. Ran mod feature before the sportsman which got us out of there at 10 sharp--great!  Only negatives were a somewhat weak modified turnout (we named a half-dozen drivers on the way home who used to, but now, don't show up for these events) and the dust (Wow!) in the modified feature. I almost brought a friend along to his first dirt track experience but glad he stayed home becuase the dirt covering the spectators (and their cars) would have turned him off to dirt racing forever. Glad I went, partied a bit, saw Alex win and jumped in my shower at home by 11:15.
