How was the show -- July 4 Weekend?  

I also went to the Bridgeport STSS show.  I agree with Ed on his rating of the show and the one big negative being it was very dusty.  I took my buddy Mike to the show.  What's amazing about him going to Bridgeport with me was the last time we went to the races together was to Reading, and Tas was driving the K-46!  For me, another fun fact of night was a comment that Mandee Mahaney made to me.  In a recent pod cast of hers she mentioned that her husband Mike had taken the necessary steps for post race tech when the tech guy told Mike "We're not doing tech as Ronnie Johnson says its too hot".  Mandee added that Johnson was the feature winner and not doing tech, for whatever reason, seemd a little suspicious.  I do not recall the track but it was in New York.  Anyway, I yelled to Mandee, "Make sure they do tech.  She replied with a smile, "Not a problem, we're in New Jersey!  Again, not sure of the circumstances regarding tech not being done, but I enjoyed my very short conversation with Mandee on the subject.  Scott Ely
