"Rule of Thumb" Ideas to Improve Short Track Shows  

I just wanted to chime in with a "for instance" to the track prep issue.  I went to the 4-Crown Nationals a couple of years ago and beteen the heats and the features, the track crew groomed the track for close to 2 hours.  This started at 8:00 PM.  The races lasted till past 1:00 AM.  Luckly Eldora is out in the middle of nowhere so they don't have "suburban" neighbors.  The end result?  The track was as dusty as ever.
