Same deal. When I worked for Rutgers University Physics department one of my PhD bosses came and asked me to see if I could figure out why is car made a thumping sound when he turned the corner and stopped. He said it went side to side when he turned. So I took it for a ride and sure enough it did what he said it was doing. When I got backed and opened the trunk there it was , a six ounce coke bottle rolling from side to side. Same guy a few months later leaves him lights on one rainy mornin. I asked him for his keys so I could turn them out for him. What does he do, he goes to the blackboard and start to figure out how long the battery will last and if he could make it to lunch time. I told him it would be dead by then and don't ask me to jumpstart it for him later. Yes it was dead and no I didn't jump it for him, he didn't want to admit I was right. Go figur. |
