Story behind the Polecat and skunk  

  On the Polecats and the skunk on the trunk.  I beleive it has to do with the fact that at the height of the success with the #39...the Tas and the team went to so many events...the crew would simply go from track to track with the car and the "accomodations" where they slept and took care of bodily cleanliness left much to be desired and after a while...it was said that they smelled like....well, polecats and hence the name and the image of the skunk on the trunk lid.
