As the racing season is starting to get underway, I thought now would be a good time to see if anyone would want to share what they thought was a sweet looking race car. Pictures would be even better. It can be past or present.
I am sure a lot of work goes into designing a car.
If we get a lot of comments/pictures, we can even look at doing a bracket since it is NCAA basketball time

Can't narrow it down any further. For asphalt, Charlie "J"s low slung #1 36 Chevy coupe, the Tant-Mitchell #11 37 Chevy coupe, and the Dick Barney #14 3 window coupe (red w/ aluminum hood). For dirt, the Paul Blair #3 36 Chevy coupe AND the Chevy sedan, Gil Hearne's #12 orange 37 Chevy coupe, the "Mulligan" Gremins: Statewide #3 and the Ferriauolo #73. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Maybe have the 3Widers name favorites for each decade (60s, 70s, 80s, etc) and for dirt and pavement. Scott Ely |

Awesome color combination honoring the Patterson family. You don't see too many brown race cars, but it reeks Patterson! Great people. Was a big fan of Larry and Pat's in the 70's, than was able to race with them in the early 80's was so cool.
My pick, Gil Hearne dirt coupe |

I'm the guy that had one of the earlier posts in which I mentioned enough hot rods (for both dirt and asphalt) to run a heat race. Seeing the photo of Frank Myronchuk's beautiful 37 Chevy coupe reminded me that all of Frank's cars were good lookin' machines. His coupe has my vote! Always enjoyed talking to Frank when he would stop at Emery's Garage in New Egypt back in the late 60s/ ealrly 70s. Scott Ely |
