Maybe everybody knows the answer to this question but why did they cancel? Doesn't sound good when a track cancels without a reason. |

I have not been to New Egypt for a few years. Is there a problem with this track? |

The owner. Doesn't really care about racing any more. That guaranteed money from Amazon every month is better than trying to make money from the track. I fully understand cancelling for weather, but at least try to get the show in. Cancelling 2 days before an event based on a projected forcast is bs. And by the way, no rain at New Egypt or Bridgeport until the early hours of Sunday morning. JMO, but I know others feel the same way. |

I really love NES for 2 reasons, its 30 minutes from my house and the design of the track. However, ever since "The Kids Kid" was disqualified under suspicious circumstances. I think their level of competition has dropped as has the condition of the track itself. To be fair, its been about 6 weeks or so (this season) since I've been to NES. But the track was super dusty at my last several visits. I sincerely hope Fred Vahsling's heart is still "in the track" and his priority hasn't switched to running a "trucking parking lot". Just my opinon. Scott Ely |
