You are welcome Bill. I have a set of 2 double consonants in my first name, and 1 set in my second name! Amazing that I pulled it out of the memory banks from 44 years ago!! Russell Currie.

Man. I would like to see a return of the Midgets to Wall!! I'm thinking that was an ARDC show.

ARDC, or what's left of it is dirt only.  Maybe they could get NEMA down from New England, I think they may be pavement only.  Long tow with high fuel prices.

Might be wrong but I seem to remember Lenny Boyd in a Roadster style Midget like the inside one at wall one night in a show with the TQ's and full size.

I don't think that is Gil to big, full helmet.Maybe Rossell collar on shoulder belts full helmet or maybe Mark Engle I'm pretty sure that he bought that car from Tom.Just to big of a guy to be Gilbert

Mini Indy was always Memorial Day weekend. 50 laps and started three wide.

Thoughts: Smoking two strokes. Mix of TQ's from the 50's to the late 70's, a bad mix. Cars ranged from 13 second laps to 18 second laps, so the fast had to race around the slow. After 5 laps you had no idea who was in any position. Two or three push trucks, so it took 15 minutes to start them because they would stack them on the front stretch, and a few had hard times starting. Red flags were bad. One or two of the Modified guys would race them and not do very well. Bottom line, I hated when the TQ's were there. lol

Gil's car, agree Bob Rossell or maybe Tom Durkin. Mark Engle wore an open face helmet. Back than, Charlie Kremer Jr. and Tony Siscone wore full face helmets and very few others in the Mods.

Kevin, how old were when you started taking photos at the track? I think all of us on here  wish we had taken pitures at the track.

I'm thinking Mark Hendrickson may be the same guy I raced slot cars with at the hobby shop in Red Bank.

Around 12. Bunch of crappy cameras, more bad photos than good, but glad I kept them. I find most people gravitate back to their formative years in their teens, so the 70's were mine. I remember more from the 70's than I do last week!

Everyone out there has photos of race cars. Figure out the scanner and get them up!!!
