Are there any 3Widers that noticed the nose piece on Mahaney's #35 a patriotic red, white and blue #1 with "Pauch" underneath the "1". I'm guessing this sheet metal is from one of Pauch Sr's hot rods, or the entire car was a former Pauch 1 with Mahaney's colors and "35" but they did not repaint the nose piece. Maybe a tribute to Mike's father in law. Scott Ely |

If you looked even closer, K+A Excavating is now sponsoring Mikey. I think Buffilco actually owned the cars not Pauch. They were probably just trying that nose as it had a little bit different configuration than the typical bicknell nose. More front downforce for Bridgeport. |

If thats the case it wouldn't suprice me if he didn't have one of kevin's motors in the car as well. In the video that Mandee did from Utica Rome 's STSS race. After he dropped out of the race Mikey said it was the 3rd set of pistons he melted down in his motor. |
