Some of these photos may be Travers Cambra photos. Travers and his family were the track photographers for Wall from the early 80's through the 90's.  We lost Travers last week at the age of 79. Travers was a real character.

We also lost a current photographer, Pat McKee, this week , also 79.  Pat was one of the track photographers at Wall since the early 2000's. Pat was always nice to see and a good conversation. Pat was wheel chair bound, but never slowed him up.  Pat also did photography for the NY Giants and you often seen him on the sidelines shooting.

Rest in peace Travers and Pat.

Is the car still around? It should be in a museum, as I believe it was raced competitively for over 20 years with numerous drivers. I got to eyeball it one time when it was on display behind the stands at Wall. Everything about the car was "right". I remember it always handeled perfectly, it never pushed (plowed) or fishtailed. A remarkable piece of equipment for sure.

Russ, you never raced behind it!  Lol  Pushed like a dump truck. Hard to pass because the car was wide and just fast enough  When Rick raced it, he would drive the Konopacki 6 which would deplete his handicap, than start on the pole in his Troyer big block #67 and win the feature. Rick was a real good guy and had it figured out.
