The car in the last photo is a 1934 Chevrolet Master Deluxe (DA) roadster. The fender skirts were one of many accessories availabe in 1934.
I owned a 1934 Master DA Sport Sedan for over 40 years. Restored it myself. I am a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and quite famiiar with mid 1930s Chevys. |

Kev- I can't recall the location of where the photo of Jackie Moschera's S-1 was taken. Jackie keep his hot rods at (Augie, his dad) Moschera's Auto Body which was located on Lakewood Rd. (Rt. 528) on the outskirts of the town of New Egypt. I don't recall Augie having a lot of junk cars behind his shop. Since this photo was taken in 1966, I'm gonna say time has taken its toll on my memory. Although it never was good. Scott Ely

Looks like more cars in the Drive In section. Probably more peole there, than in the entire Grand Stand now a days. Execpt maybe the Big shows like Estates Weekend. |
