Hey Nascar how can you call a dirt race a dirt race? How about no glass windshields or any type and wire mesh only for a windshield and let a driver see what what its like to pull a helmet full of tear offs on one pull. They be whining like little babies on the radios. |

A lot of NASCAR drivers are great dirt track drivers.Chase Brisco, Tyler Reddick,Alex Bowman ,Kyle Larson and others have won many multiple times on dirt. And let us not forget the talents of Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart too. |

Watch the High Limits Sprint Tour preview interview with Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet on Flo. Kyle describes racing a Cup car at Bristol. Brutally honest to the point I bet NASCAR talks to him about it. There are times he is basically rolling his eyes and laughing at it. Funny how the dirt racers rarely do good there. |

Enjoy the race for what it is ,entertainment!. As far as Windows go when NASCAR raced on dirt in the forty's and fifty's the cars had windows. In John Micek's shop there's a picture of Frank Schneider car on the beach course at Daytona with windows. Also the Penn-Mar racing group cars used windshields. But I agree take away the mirrors and spotter, might produce better racing. |

When you look at the begining of NASCAR when stock cars were really "stock cars" and they ran on mostly short dirt and asphalt tracks they ran with winshields and mirrors. That all changed for a whole lot of good reasons.

It will be as hard and black as a New York dirt track after a daytime 200 lapper. The raving surface will be comprised of dirt. But it will not be what we consider dirt racing. |

I agree. Nascar on dirt is anything but a real dirt race. It's really sad what Nascar has become. Put the Cup drivers in Super Dirt Late Models at Knoxville and see how they do. My guess, they wouldn't do too well. |
