Watching?, Attending?, Participating? I hope to get out to a live event, weather permitting, otherwise I'll be catching up on Flo (full replay section.) Flo Alert: For anyone who has Flo and only watches local stuff, give the Dennis Roth Classic events a watch (night 1 & night 2) from Thunderbowl Speedway in Tulare CA, and enjoy some great west coast sprint car action, and great driver fan interaction as well. At Thunderbowl (Tulare) they bring the winners out to a small stage in the area between the bottom row of the stands and the track fence and it really is a high entertainment value moment, and is done in a way that doesn't kill the show's momentum. If whatever appeals to me about short track racing appeals to you too, after a few watches from the CA tracks in that area (Thunderbowl in Tulare, King Speedway in Hanford, Placerville Speedway and Ocean Speedway in Watsonville) you'll have your list of favorite drivers soon (maybe a few not so favorite too), and will look forward to the next scheduled events out there. |
