Looking to post this one in The Vault and not sure if it's late 70's or early 80's.

If you're sure, let me know and that way I can post it to the correct section in the main site once!

Thanks in advance.

1980 for sure. The Scamardella/ Lindy era was the best year of big block racing at East Windsor ever.  JMO

I always thought this pic of Ronnie and me was at Bport?? Between 1and 2 with a dirt berm outside..Plus the light poles just behind the fence...He had some strong motors back then.. Killer in the heats with tacky track.. We beat him a few times when it slicked off in the features..  Man could he spin those tires...Justy reel him in...Fun times..

Howie, was that the offset car that Chris built.  I remember going to his shop with Bud Snyder while that car was under construction.  Very revolutionary for that period in time.

Yes thats the car..My left foot just fit between the frame and transmission...I think it was over about 4"..which made a total 8" differance tire to tire...It was so hooked at Windsor it was hard to get it to turn...Bport much better..Chris was a great guy and easy going.. He worked many hours with the Rio clan..We had alot of fun back then...HtH
