Watched the Georgetown STSS show on FLO. Not alot of passing but there was some drama as a number of right rear tires were going flat late in the modified feature. Stewart Friesen's right rear apparently went flat just after he crossed the finish line (In first)! For me, the surprise was Joe Toth was driving a #1 while a driver named Peyton Talbot was driving the Belmont's Garage #14. Hopefully, one of the AARN columns will offer some insite into these ride changes. Almost forgot, congratulations to Stewie on his Georgetown STSS victory. Although, according to the photo below(from the FLO Racing broadcast) 3Wider Kevin Eyres beat me to the punch! Scott Ely

Toth and Belmont parted ways shortly after the Florida swing. Andy cited "lack of performance" as his reason for the switch. Hooked up with Talbot after his 3 wins in Florida.

Joe was not let go, he left on his own.....pretty sure with the past 2 seasons he had that no one could say lack of performance.

Yes, Joe did leave on his own. I should have been more specific. |
