Al and I spent a 1/2 day on our way home from Daytona at the Barber complex. My God what a display of motorcycles and race car related pieces. Even the backgrounds are works of art, well worth the 15 bucks they charge to wander through the place, at your own pace.

Thoughts on Penske DQ?

Anybody remember Mark Donohue's book "Unfair Advantage" when he was racing for Roger Penske?  Just saying.

Newgarden's press conference this morning will be interesting. Cindric claims it was an honest oversight re computer programming error that was not caught by Penske team or Chevrolet. Kind of hard to swallow.

Sounded like an "honest mistake of copy and paste".  An over site or a loophole they thought they found? Tough one to digest.     Thanks!

Tim Cindric says the wrong software was unintentionally loaded and his drivers regularly smash the P2P button when the system is off so ultimately it was a coincidence that P2P worked when it shouldn’t have.

Josef Newgarden today said his team (where Cindric is Race Strategist) thought that P2P was legal this year on restarts and that’s why he was using it.

These two statements don’t really gel.

Yup, I really was confused reading each of the statements.
