I have been watching Indy intently this week with Larson running in the 500 and I may have lived long enough to see a driver better than my man AJ. Still a ways to go yet for the win but I am amazed and marvel at his skills in whatever he drives. One would think he's a regular on the circuit the way he drives an Indy car. |

Larson is just a special talent. Incredible ability to drive and adapt to so many different types of cars. I too, grew up as an AJ fan in the 60's & '70's Allen Urry |

I would go as far to say that Tony Stewart had the same if not more multi dimensional talent as Kyle Larson, In the not so distant past, he was a champion in the big three divisions of USAC (midgets, Sprints, Silver Crown) in the same year. A multi time NASCAR Cup champ, currently doing well in NHRA (which I know nothing about), competed and won against the WorLD of Outlaws, and the All Stars Circuit of Champions. He ran with INDYCAR and faired pretty well against them. Not taking anything away from Kyle, but it's not unheard of..... nonetheless, it's still impressive ! |
