Grandstand edicate .... Anderson is an older track, it has stands nearly all the way around it, and 90% of the seats sell for this race. You sit on really old 2x6 planks with seat numbers . Why I have no clue why they number seats. Anyhow during a period of track clean up, some action was taking place just behind me, a few seats to the right. A couple of light heavyweight gals were exchanging insults and blows. Hog Ring Nose had the low row seat and Checkered Flag Spandex had the preferred high ground . Spandex took advantage of her elevation advantage and landed several uppercuts. But Hog Ring was no slouch and had a decent headlock /ponytail hold on Spandex girl. It took a while for the cops to realize there was bedlam about and then make their way through the crowd to where the real action was. Nobody was hauled away but the tension was heavy for the rest of the evening.
But the band played on. |
