Congrats to Stewart Friesen for winning the 75 lap SDS show last night at Big Diamond.  In my opinion, the only way Stewie was going to lose was by part failure or a lap car.  Obviously neither happened.  He was one of the few who could make the outside work.  Love Big Diamond.  The track is very wide while the grounds/ buildings are very fan friendly, concession food is decent.  All of the stands offer a great view of the racing although some of the planks used appear to be much older than me (I'm 75)!  Got to spend some time with 3Wider Ed Lentz.  Ed has a great outlook about local racing.  He tries to dwell on the positives of a track or particular race.  Finally, I like to offer my condolences to "Mr" Kevin Eyres, who couldn't make the race.  Kevin works on Stewie's crew at races held in PA, NJ, DEL and some in NY.  Again, my condolences.  I'm sure your presence at the post race celebration was missed!  Scott Ely 

Condolences!  lol.  Had all intentions of going but got too busy at work and fell behind. It was killing me not being there, but Mid Atlantic crew of Tom Belmont and Rich Laubenstein pulled my weight for me.

Ed is one of the best people I've met in racing in a long time. Enjoys just being at a good show with his friends enjoying a couple of beers, exactly the way it should be!

Thanks for the Kudos guys and enjoyed seeing you again Scott. Was pulling for a "local" upset but that was not in the cards as the 44 was dominant. Home by 11:30.
