I wanted to comment on my experience at the High Limit Series race at Lawrenceburg.

Likes: Lawrenceburg is a high-banked 3/8 mile that looks sort of like Grandview but with longer straights.  It is a nicely kept facility that, I believe, is actually owned by the city of Lawrenceburg.  There were 23 cars in the pits with all the High Limits stars there including Kyle Larson.  Reserved admission was $40 with a free pit pass if you bought advance tickets.  General Admision was $35.  Kyle Larson was signing autographs and posing for pictures in the pits before the race.  Good food for a reasonable price.  The track is well lit.  Show ended at a reasonable 9:45 PM even with a bit of foot dragging for track prep.  I live 53 miles away and got home by 10:45.

Dislikes: Very very dusty.  It got dusty during hot laps and, despite repeated attempts to groom the track. remained extremely dusty all evening.  Even then, the dust was no where near as "heavy" a dust as Flemington used to create.  I expected my truck to be trashed but it wasn't.

Returning:  I am going to try to see the Indiana Midget weeks race there and may try to catch a weekly show some Saturday night.
