I consider myself a "car guy" who thought he had a preety good grasp on what makes and models were out there in the 60s up thru the 90s. So I'm on a car model site "Model Roundup" and they're adveristing a 1/25th scale model of the 1968 Mrecury M-100 pickup! Where have I been! This is news to me! My research shows that the Mercury M-100 was produced from 1946 thu 1968! I know the M-100 is a exact twin to the Ford F-100, but again, how did I not know that! Scott Ely |

Merc trucks were sold in Canada. Sorta like Beaumont’s, which were actually Chevelles with a nose job and sold by Pontiac-Buick dealers up there. |

I was always aware of Mercury pickup's. Never really knew the year that they stopped. They're ever more rare than the Cabellero. |

We had a yellow one for they were Mitsu powered with simlar graphics. until the idiot blew a stop sign after dropping a car off a the Wheel alignment shop. Also the black ones had graphics or you could get a plain jane in other colors. They were basically a Lancer with Plymouth name plates. |

Mercury was the name used on Ford trucks that were made overseas. During the War in Vietnam, I saw a lot of trucks with this name being used by the civilan population. |
