Msg ID: 2823121 This Week's Question: Blue Race Cars
Author:3-Wide
6/25/2024 9:52:35 PM

Note:  If responding to this post, please delete the Subject Line and put the Driver's Name and/or Car # in the Subject Line of the post you are creating.  That way others can see what cars/drivers have already been named without reading through each post to check. - Thanks!. Smile

As mentioned a few weeks ago, for some reason, a while back, I was thinking about colors of race cars... and how all these year's later, what cars come to mind when a particular color is mentioned....

So for this week... let's go with "BLUE."

It could be a modified/sportsman, dirt/asphalt, sprint car, street stock/late model, stock car, indy car.... whatever, as long as it is a car that you think of when "BLUE" race car is mentioned:

So, what cars and or driver's do you remember driving "BLUE" cars?

Please provide car #, driver's name, and track raced at if you think it'll help us know which car you're referring to.

As mentioned at the top of this post, please delete the Subject Line and put the Driver's Name and/or Car # in the Subject Line of the post you are creating. That way, people can see the names that have been provided at a quick glance without combing through multiple posts to see if the driver they were going to add had already been provided.

Let's see what you guys come up with....

These photos are of Chic Ronan's 'blue" R2s.  The Ford coupe coupe with the white trim is the first R2 that Chis ran.  It was replaced by the Tobias chassised Vega.  After a rough ending to the season at Windsor, the Vega body was replaced by the Ford coupe body.  Scott Ely

Forgot to mention that Johnny Leach painted Chic's coupe (replaced the Vega).  Chic thing.asked how much he owed for the paint job.  John replied nothing.  Then he said,  "Just put Quality Auto Body on the car somewhere and we'll call it even".  As you can see, Chic did his part of the deal.  Scott Ely
