Original Message I don't think there is any way of capturing the ratio between nights that were "great finishes" and nights that ended up on the back of a wrecker, but from my years of watching Oliver Butler race in the late 60's and into the 70's, he had to be at the top of this list in a good way. When he didn't win, he was top 5... Very rarely ended up on the wrecker. Will always remember him as a very successful "gentleman" racer. Lots of great runs behind the wheel of the red Siliman (sp?) #4, and the Fred Menschner silver #21. Thanks for posting the pictures Rick. |
