Original Message Hicklory "The most famous short track in the country." Attended as a fan in the stands + $13 admission, 11 senior. a very good crowd, lower front stretch tiered concrete for lawn chairs, grand stands above nothing fancy at the place, might put it in the same catagory as Grandview. Track surface looks pretty worn, good lighting. - Time trials for all classes (at 5 oclock) heads up line up. + racing started within a couple minutes of 7:00 schedule 4 division show, features only with late models twin 40 laps, limited late models, street stocks, super trucks - car counts 10 late models, 8 limited late models, 7 street stocks, 8 trucks small fields with heads up line ups did not lead to alot of exciting racing but it did have a few good battles other than interviewing top 3, races were run right after each other. final checkered at 9:20 was nice to visit a track with it's history but I will head to other tracks on any future visits to the area |
