Definitely flat bottom air cooled carbureted VW Super Vees.  Here's a ground effects water cooled fuel injected Super Vee i drove at Nazareth in 1990. Car was out of Wisconsin.  Car owner Tony ? to far right. Starrted 24th. got up to 11th before dropping out
