Delivered last week ... one of the latest commissions to come off my easel. A private client wanted a painting of his three favorite early 1970's modified, coupe body dirt track racers. A few photos by noted photographer Harry Cella were cited as a basis for what he wanted. Seeing a number of photos by Paul Irving that inspired the setting color and details helped pull the image layout all together. After getting Harry Cella's and Paul Irving's ok, the project began. Following the post of the finished art are some of the stages of the painting.
