Original Message Rick “Scooby” Laubach the Latest Hot Shoe Researched by ARRA!
Ringoes,NJ – Rick “Scooby” Laubach…..THE QUAKER SHAKER, the hot shoe out of Quakertown, PA is the latest Northeast modified chauffer to have his career researched and documented by the Nationwide auto racing research group, ARRA – Auto Racing Research Associates. Laubach joins a who’s who of famous and infamous driving stars that have had their careers broken down to each and every one of their feature event triumphs across their career behind the wheel. “Someone mentioned the possibility of taking a look at the career of Rick,….” Noted researcher and ARRA President Fred Voorhees. The more that I thought about it, the more I realized that like a few other driver research projects as of late…most of Ricks wins we probably already had records of within the files we had already worked on. Since I have been concentrating on track research rather than driver projects over the past four or five years….it has become a godsend because our driver research projects are getting done much quicker.” And it turned out to be fairly accurate. Most of the wins that Scooby had scored were already within the files in the ARRA library and they simply had to be ferreted out. “It was cool adding Brian Weaver just the other day thanks to research by fellow ARRA Co-Founder Bill Braga just a few days ago. Brian is now retired and his son has taken up the duties behind the wheel in car owner Mark Terry in the Southern Tier area. With adding Ricky Laubach into our library…it makes it a great week around here at ARRA!
