Frank A: Doug Hoffman made his sprint car debut at Bridgeport on Oct 21, 1984. He mentioned to me that he was gonna run a sprint car for the first time that weekend and asked me to take some pictures if I could.

I don't recall him ever running a sprint car again. (But I could be wrong about that.)
