My first year attending SDW was 1986. That was the year that Barefoot Bob finally won the big race!  As a young , strapping lad in his early 20's, that stuck with me ! Every year after that, we'd always go over into the infield and just watch through the fence as he ALWAYS had the same parking spot right next to the fence as you came up out of the tunnel. Many great memories with family and friends as we watched Bob McCreadie do his thing. He will be missed greatly.
