I went to NES on Saturday Night as a fan in the stands for Jeep Night. $23.00 for General Admission, classes were the Modifieds, Crate Sportsman , 4-cyclinders and Rookies.

Likes - Good field of 25 Modifieds on hand, Decent finish after late race cautions in the Sportman feature. Good battle for several laps in the modified feature between Ryan Gowdown and Brand Grasso. Grasso would eventually drove away for the feature win. No dust compared to earlier this season. I never once put on the goggles to watch any of the events.

Dis-Likes : A four hour show with over 55 minutes of Intermission. Also several times we had to wait for cars to come out on the track. 10 minutes of empty track between the end of the 4-cyclinder heat race and the next feature! Last week had two more classes and the show ran a little better.

Notes - Dillon Steuer making an apperance in Modified Feature. James Blewett winning both Rookie events.

Going back this month - Probably.

What did I watch - NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals from Bristol TN. Good racing plenty of closes finishes going right down to the line. I won't give any more details for those who still have to watch the event. Just a comment. Tony Stewart is really learning how tough Top Fuel is if you watched the program. Also I watched maybe watched a total of 10 minutes of Nascar Cup Racing. Good to see Kyle Larsen win on the road course.
