Last weekend I was down in FL at Showtime Speedway in Pinellas Park, FL (formerly Sunshine Speedway) for a Saturday night.  The track is clean and efficiently run.  On this night there were pavement Sprints, Southern Mods, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Crown Vict races.

The sprints and mods were sparse in number and kind of dull but the Streets, Crown Vics (feature and fig 8), and Minis were top notch races.  The Streets were the best with a field of about 27 cars of all body styles and setups.  75 lap SS feature with great racing.  I dare say the best street stocks that I've seen since the days of the Nazareth SS cars.  The Crown Vic class is very competitive and a great class.  Here's a few pictures.
