Original Message Thanks for everyone's imput. I guess you can't blame a modified guy running in one of "today's" (aka crates) sportsman races if the track allows it. My apologies for mentioning Andrew Krause finishing 2nd in the Wall sportsman feature as I don't believe he was even in it. My excuse, just turned 74. And, I did grow up where the sportsman ran with the modifieds at all the tracks I visited in the 60s and early 70s. The sportsman/crates of today were known as limited sportsman back then. I recall the cubic inch limit was 318 for them. Scott Ely |
